Powering Futures participant features on BBC Radio Orkney

On the 25th of January 2024, Jocelyn Harcus, a Next Generation Office and Customer service assistant from Sheila Fleet Jewellery appeared on BBC Radio Orkney to talk about her participation in the Powering Futures Highlands & Islands Challenge. Jocelyn is taking part, not only to develop her own capacity, but to apply that in crafting a viable solution for her own employer to tackle their energy usage head on.

The Highlands & Islands Challenge was created in partnership between Powering Futures, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and Zero Waste Scotland, to empower the Scotland’s most northernly region’s Next Generation whilst driving the Highlands to a Net Zero future.
