At Powering Futures, we believe in the power of collaboration and the impact of sharing real-world experiences with the next generation. Our unique Mentoring Programme bridges the gap between the workplace and the classroom, empowering professionals to support teachers and inspire students.

We're focused on developing the skills of our future workforce and guiding S5 and S6 students toward diverse career paths and future opportunities for them to thrive.

We have over 125 schools on the programme in academic year 2025/26 across Scotland, so whether you are looking to help out in your old school or with a secondary close to you we have options to suit.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Pre-prepared Content: All session materials and content are created and provided by us, ensuring consistency and ease of delivery. You don’t need to be a subject matter expert to make an impact

  • Flexible Commitment: Most lessons are 55 minutes and with just three sessions a year, the programme fits easily into your schedule.

  • Support System: You'll be working alongside teachers, with ongoing support from our team to ensure a smooth experience.
